Withdrawal Policy

Withdrawal Policy

Authors may request withdrawal of a submitted manuscript from Language, Knowledge and Intelligent Systems before acceptance by contacting the editorial office and explaining the reason. The request should identify the manuscript title, corresponding author, manuscript ID where available, and all author consent where appropriate.

After Acceptance or Publication

After acceptance, withdrawal is considered only for substantial reasons such as authorship disputes, duplicate submission, serious error, legal concerns, privacy risk, or ethical problems. After publication, the scholarly record is normally maintained through corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions rather than silent removal.

Record Integrity

Withdrawal requests, editorial decisions, author confirmations, and any related notices should be retained in the journal record. Published material should not be removed except for serious legal, privacy, safety, or rights reasons.
